Mysore is considered as one of the nearest railway station which is leading to Coorg. It is just 2 ½ hours’ drive from Coorg. It is connected to almost all the cities of South India via a wide network of the railway lines. There are other two railway stations like Mangalore and Hassan which are providing travellers with convenience of travelling in the city. You could always select the nearest railway station for reaching here. Some of the other options of railway stations to Coorg are-Tellichery (110 KM), Kasaragod (106 KM) and Cannanore Railway station (136KM). The train fairs are on the lower end due to which it remains crowded over the year.
- Via Road
Roads which are leading to Coorg are well maintained and with wide connectivity. When you are driving down the falling and raising roads might in some cases be difficult due to the presence of fog and mist but ample presence of greenery makes you go ahead to have a delightful ride. The major cities of Karnataka are connected well with Coorg like Mangalore, Mysore, Bangalore and Hassan. You could go ahead with public and private buses or car.
