Neemrana fort is situated in an ancient historical town Neemrana in Alwar district of India. This fort was built by the famous Rajput warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan in 1464. Though this fort is very old yet very beautiful and charming or in other words “Still Standing with Pride and Dignity”. This fort was occupied by the royal family till 1947 but after them it deteriorated rapidly and in 1991 it got new lease of life as Heritage Hotel and since then it resumed its reputation. This fort id divided into two parts- the old part and the new part. The older part has stone covered walls with plaster and the rooms arranged around the country yards. The newly opened area is more space has pool, gym, spa and conference hall.
Shatranj Bagh is the terrace above the main entrance is very beautiful. Though the rooms in the older part are not very spacious but the space utilised wisely however the rooms in the new area are comparatively big. The Dakshin Mahel is the middle range suits above the Shatraanj Bagh.
The meals served in the fort are buffet style with both North Indian and Rajasthani cuisines. A La carte snacks menu is also available from 10.00 am to noon and 3.00 to 7.00 pm with excellent food.
